This article explains how to install KaraFun on Mac, either from the official website or the Mac App Store, and how to uninstall the app if needed.
Install KaraFun on Mac from the website
- Visit the homepage and go to the Apps section.
- Download the latest Mac version of KaraFun.
- Open your Downloads folder.
- Double-click the disk image (.dmg) or installation package.
Install KaraFun on Mac from the App Store
- Open the App Store on your Mac.
- Click your name at the bottom left, or click Sign In if you’re not logged in.
- Find KaraFun in your purchased apps list.
- Click Download to install the app.
Uninstall KaraFun on Mac
- Quit KaraFun if it’s currently open.
- Open Finder and go to the Applications folder.
- Locate KaraFun.
- If the app includes an uninstaller, open it and follow the instructions.
- If there is no uninstaller, drag the app to the Trash, or select it and press Command + Delete.
- Enter your administrator name and password if prompted.
- From the Finder menu, choose Empty Trash to permanently delete the app.
Tips
- Uninstalling the app will delete any songs you’ve downloaded to your device.
- You’ll need a KaraFun account to log in and use the app. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up from the app or visit the homepage.
- KaraFun for macOS requires macOS 14 or later.
