Learn how to play a Quiz on KaraFun to test your musical knowledge, compete with friends, and enjoy interactive gameplay. Quizzes are available with Standard and Pro subscriptions and require the Remote Control for full functionality.
- Browse the Quiz Category in the catalog.
- Select the theme you want and add it to the queue as you would with a song.
- A screen with a QR code will appear. Players can scan the code with their phones and enter their names to join the game.
- Once all participants have joined, the host clicks the "Play" button on the KaraFun app or the Remote Control, depending on settings.
- Each quiz includes 12 randomly selected questions. Questions and answers appear on the main screen, and players submit answers using the four colored squares on their device via the Remote Control. All players must be able to see the main screen.
- At the end of the quiz, the top players' scores are displayed. To see the full score, click the "medal/cup" icon in your history under "Options."
- KaraFun also offers an interlude feature! After each question, players can enjoy a short karaoke sample of the song. To start an interlude, press the “Interlude” button on the Remote Control between questions.
Tips
- With a Premium subscription, up to 20 players can join a quiz; Pro subscriptions allow up to 1,000 players.
- Quizzes can be saved for offline use like regular songs, but it is not possible to submit answers or score points without the Remote Control. The Remote Control requires an active Internet connection to function, so full quiz functionality is only available online.
- Quizzes are designed to offer a varied experience. Some questions may repeat if you play the same quiz multiple times.
